Whether you or your loved one experiences a disability, there are personal care supports available with funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which includes assistance with personal care tasks of daily life.
People living with disabilities have varying levels of intellectual, physical, sensory, neurological or psychosocial function depending on the nature of their disability. It may be visible or hidden, permanent or temporary and have a small or significant impact on a person living with a disabilities daily life.
Personal Care functions are a bare necessity for health and wellbeing and how we perform in all aspects of our lives. People living with disabilities may not have the ability to perform personal care functions themselves and require varying degrees of assistance and support.
If you or a loved one is living with a disability, chances are there are certain everyday activities that requires assistance or supervision of personal tasks for daily living.
Eating well, performing personal hygiene, getting dressed, and using the restroom all contribute to an individual’s senses of self and dignity.
Freedom Oz Care is well equipped and trained to help support you with any Personal Care tasks you need and cannot perform on your own.
