Whether you or your loved one experiences a disability, there are supports available with funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which includes Life Skills and Development.
Life skills are considered to be the fuel that powers life, and can be defined as abilities that enable us all to deal effectively with the daily demands and challenges. Life skills can be defined as behavioural, cognitive, or interpersonal.
People living with disabilities often have different experiences, or face different challenges, and therefore, have a different, unique set of life skills.
